Gail B. Pennix Vision Award

The Gail B. Pennix Vision Award created in honor of Gail B. Pennix, CRM. Gail was the first president of ARMA Silicon Valley; her vision and passion for the profession helped create the chapter. The award is designed to recognize a pattern direction and mentoring by an individual in the ARMA Silicon Valley/Santa Clara Chapter. Recipients of the award are long-time Association and chapter members who have clearly and substantially given themselves in the work of the chapter. The recipient must have been a chapter member in good standing for at least five continuous years and are eligible within the first five years of their retirement. The award was created by Michael Goode, President of the chapter in 1997 and is given at the discretion of the chapter president and/or board of directors.

Goode Rookie of The Year Award

The Goode rookie of the year award was created in 2002 in honor of Michael Goode for his invaluable service to the Silicon Valley Chapter. Michael served on the board from 1994 until 2002 and was selected as the "Chapter Member of the Year" a record four times during this period. Michael's vision, enthusiasm and contributions have helped to mold ARMA SV into a productive, thriving chapter that is dedicated to its membership. The award is given at the discretion of the chapter president and or board of directors.

Helen M. Streck Community Service Award

The Helen M. Streck Community Service Award was created in 2003 in honor of Helen Streck whose tireless efforts and enthusiasm helped to shape the chapter and inspired many community outreach events - including the East Palo Charter School reading days, City of Palo Alto inventory and fundraising for the New York Firefighters after 9/11. This award is given to a chapter member who has taken extraordinary measures to promote the chapters community service efforts by donating materials, volunteering and/or coordinating events. The award is given at the discretion of the chapter president and/or board of directors.
